Ellie is preparing for her next show!

In between reading Quantum Mechanics by Rae, Ellie has been busy preparing for her next show! See Ellie at the National Physics Colloquium (YUSU) event at the University of York, UK: http://www.yusu.org/whats-on/event/4769

‘I can’t wait’ says Ellie. ‘I want to show the whole world that quantum physics is fun!!! I am ready for my close up!’

‘Oh… I almost forgot… yes.. Yvette will be there, too!”

Ellie the Electron and the Quantum Circus Comes to Life

Ellie the Electron and the Quantum Circus will come to life as a physics pantomime at 2.30 p.m. in the Tempest Anderson Hall of the Yorkshire Museum in York on Sunday 2 January 2011.

The play, written by Dr. Yvette Hancock (Department of Physics, University of York), is based on her children’s book, which covers quantum-physics concepts threaded through the exciting tale of an electron who becomes a star in Mr. Pauli’s Quantum Circus. The physics pantomime will be performed as part of the joint Yorkshire Philosophical Society and York Museums Trusts’ Christmas Family Lecture, and has been sponsored by the Yorkshire Branch.

Children and adults who are young at heart are particularly welcome to attend this free event!
